MAPLES FS FIT-OUT, 32 molesworth st, dublin 2

Following the refurbishment and extension of 32 Molesworth Street which was carried out by CS Consulting, we were also engaged by Maples Group and Green REIT to act as Civil & Structural Engineers on the Tenant fit-out of the building. 32 Molesworth Street is a Victorian style building refurbished and extended into a 50,000 sq.ft. + commercial LEED Gold, Class A office building. The building won the Irish Design & Building Association Awards 2017 in the category Commercial/Office.

Following completion of the refurbishment and extension of 32 Molesworth Street, for which CS Consulting were the C&S Engineers, we were engaged by Maples Group and Green REIT to provide fit-out services. The building was fit-out into stylish, high spec office space. The fit-out achieved LEED ID+C Commercial Interiors Gold status.

Some challenging elements of the works included the design and construction of a new internal, glazed bridge walkway between the existing protected building and the new building. The fit-out design also involved structural input for the formation of opes in floors for additional stair cases.
