Highfield Park is a 402-bed student accommodation located at 274 North Circular Road, Dublin 7 (adjacent to the Green Luas line) which caters for students of Trinity College and TUD’s Grangegorman Campus. The project recently won the Housing Development award at the Toward Net Zero Ireland Construction Awards, and subsequently featured on the front cover of the Irish Construction News December 2022 - January 2023 edition magazine.
The scheme comprises 402 student bedrooms with 444 student bed spaces arranged in 92 cluster apartments and studios across nine blocks (A to G) which range in height from 1 to 7 storeys with a single storey basement under Block E. All the blocks except for Block A, B and D have balconies.
All buildings were constructed with reinforced concrete walls and floors on this large undeveloped brownfield site. The development comprises twin rooms, ensuites, studios, gatehouses, and townhouses. Ancillary and shared services for students are provided throughout the development, including a gym, study rooms, shared kitchen spaces, and cinema area.
