Planning permission has been granted for an expanded development scheme at Harcourt Square in Dublin 2. The scheme will deliver 31,866 m² of Grade A office accommodation across two interconnecting buildings on the 1.9-acre city centre site. The buildings are targeting a BER A2 and LEED Platinum rating. The majority of the space is set to be occupied by KPMG and will act as their new Headquarters upon completion of the works. As the building is located adjacent to existing structures, detailed performance specifications for noise and vibrations have been drawn up together with detailed traffic management solutions.

The sustainable development has been specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of office users, with efficiency and sustainability credentials across the two buildings. The building envelope has been designed as an integral part of the building, and due to support being obtained from the main structure, it does not require costly and time-consuming down-stand beams to the perimeter. On completion, the buildings will contain various amenity spaces such as a large town hall, collaboration/meeting spaces, wellness space, and gymnasium, in addition to an innovation hub.
